Are there any long-term commitments to use your service? I don't want to be tied down.
No, we do not impose any long-term commitments. You can cancel your service at any time, on the end of a monthly billing cycle.
Can I try your service before I make a decision? What happens when I don't like it?
Absolutely. We have a demo site, and we also give you 30 days for free if you sign up, and you can cancel at any point. Keep in mind that to try the service you need to point your domain (www.yourname.com) to our nameservers.
What about email? Do you guys set that up, and how do we use it?
We offer free set-up on Google Apps, which is the industry-leading email exchange/calendar/document management program for businesses. Google Apps offers a gmail-style email access on your domain, so your email will still look like abc@yourdomain.com, rathern than ending in @gmail.com.
Can I host this on my own server, or a web-host of my own choice?
No, you cannot, and the reason is this:
We perform upgrades on the back-end software on a regular basis, so we need full access to the server all the time. Also, our code is our most valuable asset that we cannot just give out to other servers, risking exposure to competitors.
I'm just starting out, so I want to go with the monthly option. But can I upgrade to a custom-designed solution later on?
Yes you may! The listing data you upload can be preserved and ported over. The only portions you may have to re-load are the main listing pictures (1 picture per listing).
