In a Nutshell
BRIXWORK {real estate} is offered on a subscription basis (Saas), with an option to create a custom designed website or utilize an existing template. The monthly costs apply to either scenario, and you need to pay the monthly dues for as long as you wish to have your website running on BRIXWORK {real estate}.
The monthly fee covers the data hosting costs on our server, software maintenance and development. We continuously provide software upgrades to keep our clients up-to-date.
Ownership of Software
The ownership of the software always remains with us, and the website must also be hosted on our servers. We provide instructions on how to point your domain to our server.
Ownership of Custom Design
Where a custom designed site is built, the ownership of the design and artwork becomes that of the client once the agreed initial customization fees are paid.
The Contract Relationship
BRIXWORK {real estate} is a software that is created and distributed by Sonika Studios Inc., the agency behind all of this! When you get a BRIXWORK {real estate} website, your legal contract is with Sonika Studios Inc.
Limitation of Liability
While we engage the service of one of the top server & hosting providers in North America, there may be scenarios where technical difficulties arise, resulting in loss of usage of your website. No service provider has a 100% uptime, and therefore we cannot be liable for any direct or indirect damages that arise from a temporary service outage (including the website, email routing, MLS® data synchronization). That being said, we do our best to not let this happen, and we never go cheap when it comes to server selection.
