Brixwork Real Estate Marketing provides boutique marketing services for the real estate industry in both Canada and the USA. During a time of unprecedented growth, we are now looking for an additional Graphic Designer to join the Brixwork team. This role would suit someone with a passion for creating elegant, simple and beautiful designs on digital media as well as printed media, whilst maintaining strong attention to detail and keeping deadlines/timelines in mind.

The chosen candidate will be working out of our Gastown studio in Downtown Vancouver. Foreign contractors MUST NOT apply as we have a very strict policy of our entire production team operating in Canada. This is a full-time position, with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week of work.

In this role, you will:
  • Design: Create visually impactful deliverables including booklets, stationery, signage, and websites either building from existing brand standards or developing new ones. 
  • Work Directly with the client: You will be in direct communication with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and goals. Participate in client meetings, present design concepts, gather feedback, and make revisions to ensure client satisfaction and alignment with their vision.
    1. Learn about the real estate industry: Gain a deep understanding of the real estate industry to create relevant and effective designs. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. 
  • Collaborate: You’ll work as a part of a project team, collaborating on a daily basis with strategists, developers and project managers
To succeed in this position:
  1. Proficient in standard design tools including Adobe Suite and Sketch or Figma
  2. Strong understanding of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts 
  3. Mastery of typography with a good handle of English. You should be able to tell when a font pairing is and isn’t working.**
  4. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. You’ll have to be able to spot minor inconsistencies from a mile away.
  5. While there isn’t any actual coding involved, having a basic understanding of the core principles of web development and UX design is a huge bonus
  6. Organizational skills and the ability to handle being under pressure of deadlines. 
  7. Experience or knowledge of print production and press setup is a bonus
  8. Comfortable in a Mac OS environment

  2. $44,850/yr probation wage for the first 3 months, then up to $50,700/yr and Benefits.
